Apparently, Rahul was very low profile before he plunged into electoral politics. Then one day, he asked his mother with a lot of energy, humility and charisma for permission to contest in Amethi, which is a sure-shot win for congress (It's another matter how well the city's potholes have been taken care of) and to everyone's surprise (wink wink!) he won it! Let's celebrate!(c) What kind of a person is Rahul?
Someone who stands tall on nepotism and dynastic politics and claims to be honest. (Dichotomy, anyone?)Well coming back to the answer (I need full marks), Rahul was brought up in the US and Britain (where he dropped in and dropped out of universities). To be in Indian politics one has to be rough. Rahul was rough. And he jumped into the pond of politics and became a duck. (Not a sitting one, yet). He has also exhibited impressive confidence and maturity as in the video below.
